A1ES conducts distance learning orientation

To ensure smooth flow of opening of classes on October 5 on distance learning, Abar 1st Elementary School conducted four successive orientation in September for the parents on their chosen modality.

The success and smooth flow of opening requires both initial preparation from the parents and school headed by School Principal, Dr. Ruth B. Dela Cruz.

“On going practice, orientation and reinforcement on distance learning will also be helpful to our parents as these systematic activities will give them knowledge on distance learning. This is also very essential to students as they are able to develop and maintain learning habits that will enhance their academic work,” said Dr. Ruth.

Aside from the paperless aspect side of online education and self-leaning materials for modular distance learning, there is another modality that must be addressed and must need focus – USB On-The-Go that will act as a host for providing pupils modules and video lessons.

Another, and perhaps the most important topic in the orientation is communication, which will effectively enable teachers, parents and the whole school community to understand the exchange of information or ideas from the school to the parents.

Learners and parents in modular distance learning are also encouraged to communicate effectively via text or messenger as text-based or online-based communication is certainly a major component of communication to parents with different modalities.
