A1ES distributes OTG flash drive with distance learning materials

Abar 1st Elementary School teachers headed by Dr. Ruth Dela Cruz with the assistance of School’s Teachers Association President Ma’am Veronica Cabatit distributed On The Go (OTG) flash drive with distance learning materials on Friday, October 2 at Abar 1st Elementary School to ensure its full support to the Learning Continuity Plan of the Department of Education.

“Taking care of these OTG Flash Drives is one of the roles of parents including the teachers in the effective implementation of all the initiatives detailed in our LCP – PARA SA BATA “The New Normal Edition,” Dr. Ruth said.

As part of the distribution of OTG Flash Drive, the school principal presented the school’s LCP to the parents and reiterated that the offline learners can use OTG Flash Drive in various gadgets such as cellphones, laptops, desktop computers, tablets, and smart televisions.

“Our learning continuity plan addresses needs and concerns of students arising from the distance learning approach consisting of online, offline and modular distance learning modalities,” she added.

OTG Flash Drive with distance learning materials is a device designed for offline learning of students given by the Municipality of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija as a sign of its assistance to ensure that no student will be left behind as the said department goes through the new normal in education

“We are so thankful that our Mayor Kokoy Salvador has graced the schools here in San Jose City particularly our beloved school, Abar 1st ES with these OTG Flash Drive as support to the learning of our pupils. After all, the education of the youth is a shared responsibility with us, teachers and parents,” Cabatit mentioned.

Other school supplies such as textbooks, modules, activity sheets and happy bags have also been distributed.
