Abar 1st Elementary School students won the highest award in the GAME (Good at Math and English) KA NA BA? contest for public schools on February 29, 2020 in the Division of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija conducted by the Ateneo Center for Educational Development in cooperation with San Jose City Division headed by Dr. Johanna N. Gervacio.
Grade 5 pupils mentored
by Ma’am Carmencita Flores were declared as champion in English category final
round.
“Our hardwork in
reviewing and training paid off, and the entire community, together with their
parents, is truly proud of these young achievers,” Flores said.
Due credit is like were
given to the mentors who went out of their way to make sure the pupils are
prepared to face the challenges and the morale support given by the school
head, Dr. Ruth B. Dela Cruz.
“This is unexpected of
course, but I believe in their capability to win this inter-school Math and
English competition. In behalf of faculty and staffs, we are very thankful for
the untiring support of our parents and coaches,” Dr. Dela Cruz mentioned.
Game Ka Na Ba is an inter-school Math and English
competition organized by ACED along with the Ateneo de Manila High School
Mathematics and English departments to test the English and Mathematics level
of elementary pupils.
The A1ES community wishes
them best in all the upcoming challenges.
